Welcome to the 2018/19 season and thank you for support for the upcoming season. The season kicks off this weekend with the first patrol on Saturday morning 29 September.
A lot of work has been going on in preparation for the season and I just want to thank everyone involved. A preseason meeting was held on 6 September and was well attended. The focus of the meeting was to inform everyone of the plans for the year ahead and give an update of any changes.
One of the key messages from the meeting was the introduction of TeamApp for managing patrol rosters and communicating to members about patrols, training, proficiencies, and events.
What is Team App and how will we use it?
Team App is a platform that allows teams and social groups to improve communication by creating their own smartphone app. Team App can be viewed on any iPhone or Android device, and there is also a website version for use on a PC.
