Welcome to the 2018/19 nipper season and thank you for supporting DYSLSC. Our season kicks off next weekend with the first nippers on Sunday morning 7 October. If you haven’t renewed/re-registered you can still do so online via http://sls.com.au/join
A lot of work has been going on in preparation for the season and I just want to thank everyone involved. We’ve already held a few preseason meetings which have been well attended by the committee and age managers.
We’ve had many nippers continuing their training over the winter and we’ve already held our evaluation swims which saw 147 nippers in the pool doing their proficiency.
One of the key messages from our committee is the use of Team App for communicating to parents and nippers about notices, training, proficiencies, and events.
What is Team App and how will we use it?
Team App is a platform that allows teams and social groups to improve communication by creating their own smartphone app. Team App can be viewed on any iPhone or Android device, and there is also a website version for use on a PC.
