ATV Operator
Description: The All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) Operator course provides participants with the skills and knowledge to safely and effectively operate an All Terrain Vehicle for Surf Life Saving purposes. Inductions are to be conducted by clubs.
Outcome: ATV Operator
Pre-requisites: 17+ years, Current NSW Drivers Licence (full or probationary), hold an SLSA award
Course Duration: 1hrs
IRB Crew
Description: The Inflatable Rescue Boat (IRB) Crew course provides participants with the skills and knowledge to effectively crew an Inflatable Rescue Boat in surf rescue operations
Outcome: IRB Crew
Pre-requisites: 15+ years and Bronze Medallion
Course Duration: 6 – 8 weeks on a Sunday morning (typically 6:30am – 9am).

IRB Driver
Description: The Silver Medallion Inflatable Rescue Boat Driver (IRB Driver) course provides participants with the skills and knowledge to effectively drive an Inflatable Rescue Boat in surf rescue operations
Outcome: IRB Driver
Pre-requisites: 17+ years, Bronze Medallion and IRB Crew
Course Duration: 8 -12 weeks on a Sunday morning (typically 6:30am – 9am).

RWC Operator
Description: The Rescue Water Craft (RWC) Operator course provides participants with the skills and knowledge to effectively drive and manage a Rescue Water Craft in surf rescue operations
Outcome: RWC Operator
Pre-requisites: 18+ years, Advanced Resuscitation Techniques Certificate, Bronze Medallion, Apply First Aid, Silver Medallion Basic Beach Management and current NSW Drivers Licence with tow capacity
Course Duration: 15 – 20 hours
