Dee Why Club registration days will be held on Sunday 13th September and Sunday 20th September from 9am until 11am at the Surf Club.
On these two days there will be blank registration forms available but there will be NO PREPRINTED forms for existing members. We are encouraging all current and new members to renew or join online via the Surf Lifesaving Portal: http://sls.com.au/join. The site is very easy to use and self-explanatory. For existing members, family groups may now be set up to renew all family members at once. Please download this document (pdf) for more information.
Any Nipper parent actively involved and with a specific role such as Age Manager must be a member of the club. As is the case each year, we encourage at least one parent to join as a nipper parent. This allows you to use the club facilities and ensures you are covered by insurance should anything happen whilst you are watching or assisting your child.
Renewing and annual fee payment are two separate steps, so please ensure you also make your payment at the same time. As well as via credit card on the portal, payments may also be made by direct debit into the Dee Why SLSC account: BSB 062-155 Account: 10425496. Please include your surname as a reference. Fees payable are available on the Membership Fees page.
When joining or renewing online, please ensure all mandatory fields are completed – emergency contact details are mandatory and we are unable to accept a ‘pending renewal’ into the system without this information being completed. The category Junior Activity Member (not Probationary) should be chosen for all nippers, 5 – 14 and General for all nipper parents.
There is a box to tick to indicate that you do not wish to receive email or sms correspondence, however, we strongly discourage choosing this option as most communication through the club is made via email or sms including patrol roster updates, nipper updates, carnival dates, proficiencies etc.
We are hoping to have some computers available at the registration days to help anyone who is having difficulty with the online process.
The uniform shop will also be open for you to make clothing purchases.
Please feel free to contact secretary@dyslsc.org.au should you have any questions.
