The latest State of the Beaches report is now available from the Beachwatch website.
The report includes a summary of water quality at 241 swimming locations along the NSW coast.
Dee Why beach has achieved a beach suitability grade of ‘Very Good’. This indicates it has excellent water quality and is suitable for swimming almost all of the time. Other Northern Sydney Beaches that fell within this category are Palm, Whale, Avalon, Bilgola, Bungan, Mona Vale, Dee Why, South Curl Curl.
